SOLEDAD COMPARTIDA EN DOS IDIOMAS

Loneliness that can not be enjoyed is not loneliness, but isolation, exclusion. Loneliness is to remain in you, indifferent to requirements, to pressures of the exterior: only with you, master of you, with the confidence of someone who knows his home. Isolation is the anguish, the coward emotion of being empty, of not being anybody without others. Whereas loneliness is freedom to be, isolation is subjection for not being. How different are they despite their apparent equality!

La soledad que no puede ser disfutada no es soledad, sino aislamiento, exclusión. Soledad es permanecer en ti, indiferente a las exigencias, a las presiones del exterior: solo contigo, dueño de ti, con la confianza del que conoce su hogar. El aislamiento es la angustia, la cobarde emoción de estar vacío, de no ser nadie sin los otros. Mientras la soledad es libertad de ser, el aislamiento es sujeción por no ser.  !Cuán diferentes son a pesar de su aparente identidad!
